Ponte knit and bi-stretch styles are forgiving — you can size down if between sizes. Non-stretch cotton, linen, crepe and tweed have no give, so buy your chart size.

Let the fabric be the tie-breaker: go down in stretchy knits, stay true to size or up in structured wovens — especially across the shoulders and bust.

Jeans, Pants & Skirts 00 – 18

Body measurements. Hips are measured about 8 in (20 cm) below your natural waist, standing with heels together. Fit your waist first — the cut relaxes slightly through the day.

Inseams by fit

Full-length jeans run about a 26 in inseam, petite about 24 in, and ankle styles start around 25 in. Tall styles add length for anyone 5′9″ and over.

Curvy fit

Curvy styles are fitted at the waist and fuller through the hip and thigh — designed to close the back waist gap if you are smaller-waisted and fuller-hipped.

Petite Tops 00P – 16P

Cut for 5′4″ (163 cm) and under — shorter sleeves, torso and shoulder width, not just a shorter hem. Body measurements.

Pointed toes run narrow

A pointed pump fits differently from the same size in a rounded flat or sandal — consider a half size up for pointed or strappy styles.

Measure late in the day

Feet swell slightly by afternoon. Trace your foot on paper and measure heel to longest toe, then fit the larger of your two feet.

How to Measure

Bust

With your arms at your sides, measure the fullest part of your chest keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Sleeve

Hold your arm with a bend at the elbow. Starting at the center of the back of your neck, measure across your shoulder, then from shoulder to elbow, and elbow to wrist.

Waist

Position the tape where your waist is smallest and measure all the way around — this is your natural waist. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

Hips

Stand with your heels together, then measure around your body about 8 in below your waist. For Petite fits, measure 7 in below the waist; for Tall fits, 9 in below.

Inseam

Measure your best-fitting pants from the seam at the crotch to the hem, to the nearest ½ in.

For 5′4″ and under. Proportions are re-engineered — shorter inseams, raised armholes and adjusted sleeve and bust placement, not just shorter hems.

Curvy 00 – 18

Fitted just right at the waist and fuller through the hip and thigh, to eliminate waist gapping. Also available in Petite.

Tall 0T – 18T

Extra length and updated proportions for anyone 5′9″ and above — longer sleeves, longer torso and inseam.
